We’ve simplified the interface for the latest GPT-5 model family — removing unnecessary options for a cleaner, faster configuration experience.
What Changed
When using any of the new models — GPT-5, GPT-5 mini, GPT-5 nano, or GPT-5.1 — the Advanced Options section for temperature control is now hidden.
That’s because these models already have a fixed temperature setting of 1 (set by OpenAI), meaning there’s no need for additional customization.
For older GPT models, temperature settings and other advanced options remain available.
